24/7 Stewardship Initiative
The catechetical leader of today is someone who is a steward of the mission 24/7 with a keen awareness of the link between sacrificial stewardship and its direct ability to reveal grace. Recognizing and embracing a ministerial vocation is a conscious choice, in every moment of the day, 24 hours a day, 7 days a week. This initiative invites us to remember that we are all in this together.

These giving opportunities are provided by external supporters of the National Conference for Catechetical Leadership.
There are various scholarships available to cover some or most of the costs of attendance at the Annual Convocation.
This scholarship is giving to people under the age of 30 who have at least a BA and have never been a paid full-time PCL or DCL. The registration fee is waived. See the Nomination Form for more details.NCCL’s Membership Committee makes the selections.
Up to four scholarships are given each year to Hispanics ministering as duly-appointed parish catechetical leaders in the province where the conference is held. The scholarship includes: free registration, up to $200 towards other expenses along with 1 year membership in NCCL.
This scholarship provides 1 (one) person who is engaged in catechetical leadership in Canada free registration to NCCL’s Annual Conference and free individual NCCL membership for one year for self or assigned to another person. Recipient can only apply once every five years. *If a recipient from Canada is unavailable, a local Adult Formation leader may receive this scholarship. That opportunity is available the month of April.
Diocesan Leadership serving Catechesis with Hispanics is eligible for the Sr. Maria de la Cruz scholarship. This scholarship is through generosity of William H. Sadlier, Inc.
Stanley and Olivia Hater Scholarship: This scholarship is giving to two PCLs from the host diocese of the conference. The scholarship covers the registration fee. The host diocesan director makes the selections.
Any member of NCCL whose spouse is also involved in church ministry is eligible for this scholarship. The scholarship covers the registration fee for both the NCCL member and spouse. The Executive Director selects the recipient couple.
The recipient of this scholarship must be a PCL who has been an NCCL member for at least two years and a parish catechetical leader for at least five years. The scholarship provides free registration for the Annual Conference and up to $100 towards other conference-related expenses. The recipient can not have received any NCCL scholarship for at least five years. The applicant must complete the application form and explain their financial need.
