Take a break and renew your body and mind with this invigorating afternoon session.

Nicole Masero

For over 20 years, Nicole has been educating and sharing the experience of liturgical movement at the Los Angeles Religious Education Congress, LA Regional Congresses and at multiple parishes and communities. Nicole is passionate about sharing the ministry of liturgical movement and she has a deep understanding of using liturgical movement as prayer and how to incorporate the ministry into liturgies and prayer experiences.

Monica Luther, Ed.D.

Monica Luther is an inspiring educator, speaker, choreographer, and movement minister based out of Southern California. For the past 25 years, Monica has shared the ministry of liturgical movement with audiences across the country. She can be found working with schools, parishes, and regional events to initiate new ministries of liturgical movement. Many may recognize Monica from her constant presence at LA REC, where she coordinates many liturgies, workshops, and concerts.  Monica’s passion is grounded in offering people opportunities to enter and deepen their prayer experience through movement and gesture. She can often be heard saying, “If singing means we pray twice, movement must mean we’re praying three times!” Monica holds a B.A. in Dance Movement from Loyola Marymount University and a Doctorate of Education from California State University, Fullerton.  Monica, along with her co-presenter Nicole Masero, are honored to share this virtual movement opportunity with the attendees of NCCL.
