The Languages of Catechesis: storytelling, art and digital communication
November 4, 2020, 9:00am America/New_York
This presentation will invite participants to consider the languages of catechesis as gifts and tools for dynamic and relevant catechetical experiences. These include narrative forms, images, theater and cinema as art, and the influence and opportunities provided by the digital universe. It will conclude with ideas for using both legacy media (radio, television, print, cinema) and new digital media in the catechetical classroom with a method for reflecting on how we create and consume media as information and entertainment.
