Introducing: Christ Awaits!

Libby MahowaldFeatured, News

“The catechist is creative; they search for different means and forms of announcing Christ…This quest to make Jesus known leads us to find new signs and ways of transmitting the faith. The style of Jesus was to adapt to the people He had before Him in order to make them closer to the love of God…we must not be afraid because He precedes us in this task. He is already in the man of today, and there awaits us.
– Pope Francis, July 2017
The National Conference for Catechetical Leadership, in partnership with RCL Benziger, is proud to announce Christ Awaits!
Christ Awaits is a 3-month process that accompanies ministry leaders as they prepare for ongoing change. This event will feature a participant retreat, live presentations, pre-recorded workshops, opportunities for networking, and facilitated cohort discussions with other participants from across the nation.
Christ Awaits begins December 3rd and concludes February 16th. Cohort gatherings will meet bi-weekly beginning January 5th. Participants are encouraged to form self-guided discussion groups that can meet at the local level in-between our national, facilitated, cohort gatherings.
