Joe Paprocki Receives Award

Joe Paprocki received the 2018 Catechetical Award of the National Conference for Catechetical Leadership (NCCL) during the annual meeting of the Conference that took place in Chicago, Illinois on May 30, 2018.  NCCL presented the award to Mr. Paprocki in honor of his lifelong career devotion to empower catechist trough his lectures, writings and serving the catechetical ministry for more than 35 years. 


Mr. Paprocki has devoted his whole professional life to religion education. As a young parishioner he taught religion in his parish, then, while studying at Loyola University of Chicago he taught religion to adolescents at a high school seminary.

Mr. Paprocki became the director of religious education and pastoral associate of parish in his beloved Chicago.  Here he served for several years. He also served at the Office for Catechesis of the Archdiocese of Chicago, where his served as consultant for catechist formation and directed the faith formation program for catechists.

In 2002 Mr. Parpocki join Loyola Press where he is the National Consultant for Faith Formation. Among his responsibilities are developing of faith formation resources and presenting keynotes and workshops at the national level including Los Angles Congress, the National conference for catechetical Leadership and Mi-Atlantic. Joe is a best-selling author of a number a books and resources for catechist development.
